Latest findings published in Cell magazine can be boiled down to:
- Mediterranean diet. Composed of healthy fats like olive oil, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and fish, and little red meat or sugar.
- Caloric restriction. Suggests reduced intake of calories however, balanced so as not to cause malnutrition.
- Exercise. Physical fitness or at least an hour a day of exercise is a contributing factor to longevity.
