Evidence suggests Mediterranean diet helps you live longer.

Latest findings published in Cell magazine can be boiled down to:

  1. Mediterranean diet. Composed of healthy fats like olive oil, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and fish, and little red meat or sugar.
  2. Caloric restriction. Suggests reduced intake of calories however, balanced so as not to cause malnutrition.
  3. Exercise.  Physical fitness or at least an hour a day of exercise is a contributing factor to longevity.
